Timber
decking as its name implies has traditionally been associated
with boats and the water. The idea of bringing a 'decked'
area to the garden is becoming ever more popular and when
constructed with the correct materials can prove to be a long
lasting and pleasant feature.
We
have, in conjunction with landscape architects and garden
designers, evolved deck profiles which can be incorporated
in any individual design. We carry large stocks of our standard
multigroove decking and pressure treated redwood sections
for framework in various lengths. Our investment in machinery
allows us to produce any profile shape of timber which can
then be used to form a truly exclusive feature. As the pictures
show, we can also supply balustrading and pergolas in
conjunction with the decking.
One element that can often be overlooked
why trying to construct a deck on a budget is how long
it is likely to last? All of our framework is treated
to (Hazard) Class 4
and is suitable for in ground contact (click
here for more details). It is not likely to be the same
product as widely available in the same size section from
builders merchants which will have a short lifespan if used
for framework.
